Victim Rights

Victim Witness Program

The goal of the Coon Rapids City Attorney's Office Victim Witness Program is to provide victims and witnesses of crime supportive services and assistance in dealing with the crime itself and the expectations of the criminal justice system.

The Victim Witness Program provides victim and witness services for cases charged by the City Attorney’s Office only.

If you are a victim or witness of a case charged by a City Attorney’s Office, the Victim Witness Program can provide general information about the criminal justice system and will refer you to the appropriate office for specific questions about the case in which you are involved.

What to Expect at Court

Our Victim Witness Program collaborated with the Anoka County Attorney’s Office to create a Visual Guide for the Anoka County courthouse. This guide is intended to assist victims and witnesses on what to expect when coming to the courthouse.
