The Traffic Review Committee is made up of various City staff members representing the Engineering and Police Departments. The committee meets three times per year to discuss citizen comments/concerns/ideas related to traffic issues.
This internal working group of the City takes citizen recommendations for traffic/safety improvements and discusses them for possible implementation. This working group then decides whether to move the idea up to the City's Safety Committee (made up of City staff and citizens) for further discussion or if the idea is not feasible due to a variety of factors which may be based on engineering guidelines, City Code, state law, etc.
Citizens are welcome to submit ideas involving traffic issues to the Traffic Review Committee. Fill out the online form and a City staff member will contact you if more information is needed.
