We service ANOKA COUNTY residents only. Styrofoam recycling is open to the State of Minnesota.

*Paint Recycling*
Starting February 1, we are a MN PaintCare drop site. Check out the paint recycling page for more information.

*Self-serve Paper Shredding*
Paper shredding is open. Temperatures MUST be above 40 degrees and dry for their use. During the spring, shredders will be out of service until the temp hits 40 degrees.

The 2022 paper shredding event schedule is posted under the paper shredding link.

Requests: When dropping off a mattress, please stack them the tall way, and neatly pack them as tight as you can to save space.

About the Recycling Program

The Recycling Division is actively involved in recycling as mandated by the state’s Select Committee on Recycling and Environment (SCORE). This program is unique in that it is city operated, but funded from a State SCORE grant. Our focus is on residential and small business recycling and our programs are set up to help each with every aspect of recycling and waste reduction.

What’s New?

You may see some changes to the layout of the Recycling Center. We are adding parking spaces, additional signage, and removing trees to prepare for some site improvements that will take place in 2021. Please use caution while driving through the site.

Look for the walk-up pay window on the main building to pay.
